My name is Jake Lewis.
I am currently studying at school and next year I will begin to study ten of my own chosen subjects at GCSE level.
I will then of course go on to do A-Levels once I have completed my GCSE course.
My dream is to become a commercial pilot someday whether that be for easyJet, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Aer Lingus, Flybe, Jet2 or even Thomas Cook to name a few - I simply couldn't wish for anything else!
I will be starting my PPL (Private Pilot License) training this summer at the age of 14. I hope to have gone solo at 16 and finished my training once I am 17. Yes, it is tough, and yes, I do expect a lot of myself, but it's my dream that I want to achieve and I hope that one day - It will be achieved.
This 'Blog' is not only for those who are like me, and want to become a commercial pilot someday, but it is also for those who are avid aviationist's - So don't worry... this blog has a little bit for everyone.
